I am righteous in His Sight

posted 4 months ago

Just a thought… Since a buddy of mine doesn’t think my posts are long enough hahaha…

Why is it so hard for us to accept that we are righteous in God’s sight?

Check out this out…

“There is no one righteous, not even one;” (Rom. 3:10)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Rom, 3:23)

And then…

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Cor. 5:21)

None of us are righteous on our own accord. But through the loving sacrifice of Christ, we have been made righteous. To consider ourselves anything other than righteous disagrees with what God has said and done.

So….Based on what you know about your own activities and actions throughout your life, is it hard for you to accept the fact that you are righteous in God’s sight? If God’s sacrifice of His own Son wasn’t enough to cover your sins, is there something else that you can do? In light of 2 Cor. 5:21, what would it take for you to be convinced that you are now righteous in God’s sight?

The Bible gives us clear revelation of who God is and what He has done for us. As we accept and believe this Revelation, our natural response is to worship Him.

God has plenty of everything-except you. Your worship is the time when you open up yourself and pour out on the One who loves you more than anyone else. So, don’t always be consumed with what you get in worship. Think about what you give. God wants worship from YOU. No one else can give that to him
